Sikhampheng
This is Anoulak Sikhampheng, a former soldier who was medically discharged from service in 2014.
Sikhampheng served as a Communications Operator and during his service completed Force Preparation Training for Operation ASTUTE (East Timor) but that is it, he has never deployed outside Australia.
Sikhampheng was photographed in Canberra on ANZAC Day 2018 wearing the following awards:
Australian Active Service Medal (AASM) – No Entitlement
Afghanistan Medal – No Entitlement
Iraq Medal – No Entitlement
Australian Defence Medal (ADM) – Entitled
North Atlantic Treaty Organisation Medal & Clasp – No Entitlement
He is also seen wearing the Infantry Combat Badge (ICB) but has no entitlement to this award either.
There is no doubt here, Sikhampheng is a medals cheat and valour thief. Apart from the ADM, he has no entitlement to the service medals he is wearing. He is committing the following offences:
DEFENCE ACT 1903 - SECT 80A
Falsely representing to be returned soldier, sailor or airman
And
DEFENCE ACT 1903 - SECT 80B
Improper use of service decorations
ANZMI is aware that police agencies are taking a greater interest in the reports of ‘wannabes’ on our pages, particularly since the exposure of a number of high profile ‘wannabes’ and the incarceration of others.
Let us hope they take an interest in Anoulak Sikhampheng.
